Another Life (working title) #105

OhLife was an online diary service that you could write entries to via email. It shut down in 2014, but I had been using it for two years at that point and had written hundreds of entries. When it shut down I downloaded my entire archive of...60,000 words.

Right now my plan is to use this as a corpus to generate a diary novel that is an alternate universe version of my own life for those two years.

At first I'm planning to simply do a sweep and replace proper nouns (most if not all are capitalized) with other, categorically similar proper nouns. The result is the story of my day to day life but all the details will be changed. I'll go to different restaurants, watch different TV shows, hang out with different people.

Afterwards I might try more fancy things like how to maintain continuity and context.

Done! Still some work to be done, and I'm working on a pdf / nicely typeset version, but this is pretty much what I set out to do.

@hugovk ok I removed it, the formatted link should work now. I decided I had to redact some private stuff
