Hugo game resource ripping in Windows #138

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play a Hugo game with graphics or sound
2. As you get further in the game, watch as your directory fills up with PIC#
and SND# files.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

2010.1 / Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.

I figure the resource-ripping is necessary to show/play the files, but I think
the result is a bit inelegant. I think it'd be best to rip to somewhere
somewhat out of sight like WINDOWS/TEMP/ or at least create a separate folder
to put the resources in in the game directory. Ideally, ripped resources would
get deleted after the session is over but that's not as important.
