SGO menu power not there #20

i've installed all the requirements correctly and installed SGO correctly, i believe (i dragged the configs, interface, meshes, scripts, textures folders and dse-soulgem-oven.esp into my data folder), but the power to summon the SGO menu is not showing up no matter what i do. am i doing something wrong or is this a bug?

resolved. had to make a new game, not just reload an old save.
