Get Info for any title/album in the library

This is not an issue report. It is a new feature request instead.
As the summary says IMO for many people it should be useful to be able to use 
the "Info" button for any item in the library. As all the sw should be already 
there, the only issue to solve regards the user interface. A new window for the 
info could be a solution.

Nope sorry, if you want info for a track - play it. Its the same for other 
media players.

You are right about other media players. Nevertheless if you have a huge 
collection of CD in your library I continue to believe that it would be an 
interesting feature to get info on a certain item from within the player before 
you actually play it.
