Last.fm love button not enabled #625

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Which version of Cantata?
Cantata 1.5.1

Which build? KDE, Qt4, Qt5, Windows, Ubuntu, Mac?
Arch Linux community package using KDE5, QT5.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login at last.fm settings page. Status = Authenticated
2. Enable Show love button. Disable scrobble tracks, this is done by my server
using mpdscribble.
3. Play a song and click the heart icon, but nothing happens. Nothing visible
on last.fm page.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Status loved on last.fm page of current track. Small notification in Cantata of
failed/succes of loving track.

Please provide any additional information below.
None

The enable scrobble button in the main interface does have mouse over effect.
The love button looks disabled. Doesn't have mouse over effect.

Scrobbling needs to be enabled for the button to be enabled. But I agree this
does not seem correct.

BTW, Cantata has some code to interface with mpdscribble to do the 'love'
command. However, another user reported that mpdscribble's love was broken -
hence why it is disabled.

Fixed in trunk (for 1.6.0), and branches/1.5 (for 1.5.2) now.

Clicking the Love button does not make the track marked Loved at last.fm.
I'm using the latest build of SVN.
