QUESTION, minimum configuration required to boot correctly? #17

Hi, sorry I don't speak chinese but I translated the guide and managed to successfully install MacOS high sierra, Thanks for that But my question is: since I'm trying also to do a minimal configuration, I wanted to ask how to make a minimal setup to boot correctly. I can boot only by following all the guide. If i remove the ACPI tables or change the config.plist or both nothing works. (Still waiting for root device, and the USB drive led is off, since I was using an USB to boot) So, I thought that the ACPI tables in the patched folder required to boot correctly. Together with your config.plist, Am I right?

Yes, patchedfolder contains all hotpatch aml, and they are list in the config.plist->ACPI->DSDT->Patched node. If you want to do a minimal configuration, you can find in Rehabman's repo, most of my aml is copy from there 😆.

And, wmchris's tutorial is in English, and more helpful.
