I'll think about it, the issue is that first searching for the game on steam would make it slower but could probably add some caching.
Currently you can add a Steam store link to the game links to add support for non steam games, for example https://store.steampowered.com/app/1286680/Tiny_Tinas_Wonderlands/
Hello, sorry to necro this thread, but I have an issue which I feel is somewhat related to the below:
Currently you can add a Steam store link to the game links to add support for non steam games, for example
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1286680/Tiny_Tinas_Wonderlands/
This works great for non-Steam games. However, I have an issue with Steam demo entries in particular in Playnite making space for a video in but there being no actual video available to stream, despite each having a link to the full game's Steam page.
Steam demos seem a little odd as it is, as most of the time they won't even import into Playnite, so I need to use your (@darklinkpower) Steam Game Importer extension, and even after a demo has been imported there's a seeming 50/50 chance Playnite will be able to bring in its metadata automatically.
Any light you could shed on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your hard work on these very useful extensions!

Describe the solution you'd like When viewing and Epic Games, Ubisoft or other video game launder , use the title of the game to pull the Steam trailer. Not sure if it is possible how the backend is setup.
