I cannot seem to find a working combination of

The tree editor doesn't skin right.. Which versions of django-cms and suit should be compatible with django 1.6.5 ?? A crossreference would be helpful

I haven't tested recent django-cms with Django 1.6.5. django-cms 2.x worked fine with Django 1.5.x and recent suit.

That doesn't help, django 1.6.5 requires django-cms 3+, which cracks up the admin layout. Also feincms isn't supported at all, so basically there's no cms compatible with django suit if you're using django 1.6 which seems to make suit useless for those users..

Any suggestions are welcome, I'd really like to use suit
