configurable right-click menu for images in lighttable

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I tend to do very few actions in the lighttable view (say, less than 10, probably more like 5) very frequently, and I don't necessarily want to have them as shortcuts, but I'd like them closer interaction-wise than moving the cursor to their button.

Describe the solution you'd like

A right-click menu for images in the lighttable that I can configure with the actions I want available (because I'm sure the list is slightly different for everyone)

Alternatives

I could set them all up as shortcuts, but deciding shortcut mappings well is pretty hard, deciding menu items for a right-click menu without messing up is easier. There's also some destructive actions (like deleting an image, or discarding history) that I DON'T want in a shortcut, even if the shortcut includes a bunch of modals (ctrl, alt, meta, etc.)

I have had a similar idea for a long time in the file of ideas that I would like to work on someday. But I still haven't gotten around to doing it. Too many other things to do, too little spare time.

So the answer is yes, it is under consideration. At the same time, no promises when it might happen.

Shame it's not a priority but good to know that it's being considered. I'd love to help in UX design and testing if/when this is revisited =)
