The color calibration module can be enabled by default for new images by selecting "modern" in preferences > processing > auto-apply chromatic adaptation defaults.

Should be

The color calibration module can be enabled by default for new images by selecting "scene-referred" (filmic or sigmoid) in preferences > processing > auto-apply pixel workflow defaults.
