Waterfox 56.0.4_4 on FreeBSD-CURRENT (Watefox 56.0 was based on Firefox 56.0.2)
OpenWith 6.8.6 https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/open-with/versions/?page=1#version-6.8.6 for compatibility, and ease of use.

The issue:

If not a fix (legacy 6.8.6.1, maybe?), then can you think of any way that I might suppress the icons' appearance in this context?

I tried setting all menus to Don't display, the icons persist:
