I was hoping to use this to "intercept" things like SharePoint links I'm opening from Outlook which will inevitably hit the "You can't get there from here" error. But it seems like Open With will only pick up the page URL once it's loaded the page itself?
Reproduce: open any page from a new tab and use a shortcut to trigger Open With. It will open about:blank. Same for open an URL from outside the browser in a new tab. Or navigate to a different page and use the shortcut before the browser updates the page: it will open the old page.
I'm guessing this is just an inherent limitation and there's little that can be done about it?
