"Test Installation" works fine in Firefox, but in Chromium I get in console:

Unchecked runtime.lastError: Failed to start native messaging host.

Python 3.8.10 Windows 7 Virtual Machine Ungoogled Chromium 98.0.4758.102

Situation changed. (Ungoogled-chromium 103.0.5060.114)

Now the extension works again in the Windows 7 VM, but I get the error in a Windows 10 VM... [EDIT] Solved that; see here. 🙂

Closing this for now, because Open With is removed from the Chrome Web Store and it likely won't come back. See this issue and this one.
