for me everything works
did you follow the tutorial correctly?
@riddik14
boot.img.xz - installer not start, serial over usb yes
How did you enter maskROM mode? if you are using the internal maskrom pins, you need to short these only for a few seconds at boot. if they are shorted for too long (or permanently) the eMMC wont be available to flash.
The installer runs automatically and takes about 3-5mins to complete (provided eMMC is available). You can connect to the debug console and get logs from journalctl
to see what is actually happening.
haos_ihost-11.1.img.xz - on sd card not start
This has been extensively tested at this point, either erase the eMMC flash or permanently short the internal maskROM pins so iHost always boots off SD Card.
Make sure you are connected to ethernet and allow about 10mins for the landing page to become active (it has to download a bunch of containers first) at http://homeassistant.local:8123
flashing boot img after 4 minutes led blue. reboot but not load, no ping.
i have ihost 2gb ram
the led only turns blue on successful flash, so that should be good.
The ihost will get a new IP address compared to the stock OS, as the MAC address will change.
You can login to the debug console over USB?
i have ihost 2gb ram
Not sure about performance of the 2GB model as its only dual core, but it should still work (especially given the installer completed!)
debug usb work only on boot version . to rebbot ihost go il reboot loop. i see from activity led on switch
can you create version for 2gb dual core? in log i see error for cpu on boot
can you post the logs showing the error?
this log have to blue led on boot image

This should not cause a problem, CPU2 and CPU3 dont exist on rv1109 but it successfully brings up the 2 cores.
I dont have 2gb model to test myself, however my understanding is that effectively the same as rv1126 with the only difference being the number of cores.
Both images use the same kernel, so its strange that one is bootlooping and the other isnt.
unfortunately after the reboot, after having flashed boot.img , it is not possible to read the logs but from link activity on the switch I know after 25 seconds the reboot of the network card. Is there a way, like from a physical serial port, to read what happens at boot?
after 25 seconds the reboot of the network card. thats getting a good chunk of the way into boot, maybe something in userspace crashing the kernel.
To see the boot logs you need to connect to the physical debug console.
You need a USB-to-UART adapter for this.
connect the pins this way:
GND -> GND
TX -> RX
RX -> TX
Connect using baudrate 1500000
If you can't get into the USB console, this is the only way to see more. As it shows every message from power on.

So this is happening mounting the overlay fs, the installer doesnt use these so guess that why its not affected.

This is executed inside OP-TEE which is a closed source binary blob. However at a guess its probably trying to power up one of the missing cores.
[ 7.671659] dwmmc_rockchip ffc50000.mmc: Unexpected interrupt latency
Probably related to above.
Guess will need a specific rv1109 dtb to override the cpu nodes
Can you do a quick test with this image. Boot it from SD card. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-eNTTKZSihFT7haGAYNnR6C9PJWLrAwj/view?usp=sharing
Hit any key in early boot prompt to enter the u-boot shell then run this command:
printenv soc cpucode#
I am hoping atleast one of those will show 1109
. or rv1109
. If so I will be able to use that to load correct device tree on boot (this is not included in this image though).
I still need the above test done, but here is another test image. This one tests the required changes for rv1109. Let me know if this one boots all the way.

Perfect
lan is rtl8201f but not start?
Lan wont work in u-boot, but should come up later
wifi+bt is fn-Link 6223a-srd
where did you get that from? wifi should be rtl8723ds?
Does that second image boot through the previous issue? If it does work, I will merge these changes into the main image.
Note these images are built from my dev enviroment which means they are using linux 6.6, but that hasnt been thoroughly tested yet, but these builds have a bit more debugging enabled.
For lan I have read code on chip. From install image, ping not work on lan
For lan I have read code on chip. From install image, ping not work on lan
The lan chip should work on the installer, however its not been tested as the installer uses image from sdcard.
Did you test this second image? its applies an overlay with config for the RV1109 so hopefully should boot into Home Assistant proper now? *USB Debug console is broken currently on this image, so you will need to use your UART adapter. Dont worry to much if peripherals dont work on this image (they are dev images with upgraded kernel), just see if you can get past the mounting overlay that panic'ed previously.

Yes. Boot it's work. Hassio onboarding page error
you just need to wait a bit longer, will come good after downloads are completed.
write this image in boot version for emmc?
I will create a new boot.img when I release 11.1rc2 soon
So in the meantime I thank you for the time you dedicated to me. then I noticed that there were errors on the first login. I managed to create a user by reloading the page. supervisor didn't give me addons. when ihost is restarted it no longer starts, only http://homeassistant.local:4357/ works

in my opinion supervisor, or docker has some problems. could it be that something needs to be changed regarding docker? when I do docker ps from terminal it crashes. I have to exit with ctrl+x.
The errors on the landing page are somewhat normal, I dont know what causes them, but they do go away once its ready. Addons take a while to come up on first boot also.
No changes are required in docker, but the performance of the 2GB version (only 2 cores, instead of 4) might be an issue. I suppose it might take 5mins or so for the login to be ready again after reboot.
when I do docker ps from terminal it crashes.
I dont know what would cause this, I have never seen that happen on the 4GB model
then I created sdcard, it starts, after 15-20 minutes despite the errors, updating the page starts it up. menu 8123/hassio/dashboard does not load addons
1 /dev/mmcblk1p8 is a filesystem with the name hassos-data and is not the active data disk. This can cause Home Assistant to choose the wrong data disk when the system restarts.
2 The system is currently unhealthy because the installation was not completed. There are a number of reasons why this can occur, use the link to find out more and how to fix it.
Use the fix option to rename the filesystem to prevent this from happening. Alternatively, you can move the data disk to the drive (overwriting its contents) or remove the drive from the system.
tried rebooting host setting not available from web menu

Lastly. reboot from the console with the ha host reboot command ihost restarts but no longer loads docker, error in the containerd.service service

Settings -> System -> Storage not work, probably error from supervisor.
i wait for test emmc image. probably sd card error
awesomeversion.exceptions.AwesomeVersionCompareException: Can’t compare <unknown 11.1.rc1.9> and <CalVer 10.2>
It seems to not like the version number I gave to that image. I dunno if these errors are really critical though or can be ignored.

Did you wipe the eMMC after your earlier attempts? things wont play nice booting off SD card, if there is also a data partition on the eMMC.
Emmc is in short with jumper on maskrom pin
I am preparing rc2 now, lets hope the version number is causing the issues!
Describe the issue you are experiencing
boot.img.xz - installer not start, serial over usb yes haos_ihost-11.1.img.xz - on sd card not start
there is a command for start istaller? i have use balena etcher for create sdcard
What operating system image do you use?
generic-x86-64 (Generic UEFI capable x86-64 systems)
What version of Home Assistant Operating System is installed?
last
Did you upgrade the Operating System.
No
