Updated metadata.json to allow installation on gnome 3.8 #20

It seems to work fine, but it has not been thoroughly tested.

Doesn't seem to be working for me. Gnome Tweak tool puts a warning sign next to the extension and prevents me from enabling it. Any ideas?

Try using gnome-shell-extension-tool to disable and enable the extension e.g.

$> gnome-shell-extension-tool -d extra-panels@darkxst.feathertop.org
$> gnome-shell-extension-tool -e extra-panels@darkxst.feathertop.org

Gnome-shell may need to be restarted this can be done by pressing Alt+F2 typing the letter r and pressing Enter.

with gnome-shell 3.8 system log shows:

JS LOG: Extension "extra-panels@darkxst.feathertop.org" had error: TypeError: layoutManager is undefined
