lt18i crashes using gps+mytracks+playing music

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start music - built-in player, or subsonic, samesame

2. Start mytrack - wait for GPS,  start recording 
3. Screen off to save on battery 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead 
that mytrack continues recording till I trigger a stop - instead, after 
approximately 2-7 minutes,  the phone crashes and reboots

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
happens consecutively on at least last 5 versions, current is 2.0.3
Android version is 4.0.4 - 4.1.B.0.431. It started when upgrading to first ICS 
version,  but persistently recurs on later versions, now on rooted 431, same 
thing.  

If possible please provide a log by uploading here.

A few questions. Does the crash happen if you don't start music in step1?
Can you capture the log when it crashes so that we can better understand the 
problem.
