More than likely the problem is the phone OS. ICS does not support Bluetooth
4.0, so unless the MyTrack developers talk to the OS developers at Google...
its not happening. Thanks google for pulling an Apple on this one!

Thank you for your answer, but I know that the Motorola razr support it: I
can use my sensor (polar h7) with the application "mapmyrun"
I am sure that with a few development you can support the h7.
I know I am not the only user who wait for this function.
Thanks!

I have a Razr Max as well and I can't interface with any Bluetooth 4.0 device.
The BT 4.0 hardware is install in the phone but the OS only supports legacy BT
hardware. So I can still interface with my older Bluetooth hardware but
nothing that only operates as a BT4.0. You either have found a loop whole that
I (and a alot of other people) can't seem to find or you are mistaken about
your sensor's use of BT4.0. Is it possible that the hardware sensor is capable
of any legacy BT.
By the way I know for a fact - check the Motorola website - that your phone is
only BT4.0 ready... so OS developers have the option to make their OS use BT4.0
but if they leave legacy BT controls in their OS you can't use the BT4.0
hardware installed in the phone - it defults to legacy operation.

I'm sure my device is only smart bluetooth (4.0) capable.
I can only pair it with the razr xt910 and use it with the "mapmyrun"
application. With your application I see the sensor but I can't use it.
It is the polar h7 sensor and this sensor is supported by almost all
applications with the iphone 4s and 5.
My android version is 4.04 172.181.41

Its not my application (by the way). I am just another user of MyTracks who has
done research after paying $200+ for a BT bike computer that I now understand I
can't use because the phone's operating system (ICS) does not support BT 4.0,
the API's just are not there for BT 4.0 while all the legacy stuff is.
Good luck, but I think you have found the same problem I have... which is that
Google while developing the OS totally missed the mark on the hardware phone
manufacturers were/are putting in there phones. (Thanks Google - way to be with
the times) Without the API either in the operating system or some sort of
MyTracks hot fix for the OS API's your sensor will never actually work with you
Droid - or at least that's how I understand it. If you find an application that
will actually run with your sensor on your phone, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Is there a reason this is WontFix? I've been looking at writing support for BLE
speed/cadence sensors, as I think this would be quite useful to have (and very
few other Android apps currently support it).
