What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add an JSF <h:inputText linked to a backing bean property searchString.
2. Add a JSF <h:commandButton "Find locations" to trigger the submit.
3. Add a <m:map and fill it with N markers that represent all the locations the
backing bean has read from some database.
4. Enter some search string in the inputtext and press "Find locations".
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. Expected output : the map should display the returned locations in their
correct latitude and longitude coordinates.
2. Seen instead: Marker(s) returned are not shown in their correct latitude and
longitud locations. It takes up to force some refresh of the map to show it
correctly.
Maybe it is something to do with JSF? It has to do with gmaps4jsf?
I don´t know and running out of ideas.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gmaps4jsf 3.0.0, JSF 2.1 Windows 7
I have a simple mysql database with a table that holds locations with their
respective latitude and longitud coordinates. What I am struggling to do is
something pretty straightforward : on first load, the web app should display
all the locations and then, allow users enter some search string and press
"Find locations" and the map is refreshed to show only the locations returned
by the search.
Thanks,
Find attached the index.xhtml of the app. Tell me if you need me to attach the
backing bean.
