Hi, when I charge my phone, it appears to report the wrong current. If I connect it to a generic USB port, it reads 450mA, if I connect it to the high current (1A) port on my Lenovo Thinkpad, it reports 1350mA. Both of these are wrong, I believe. I don't have an AC charger to test.
This is the case whether I used the "old hack method" or not and whether I use the "current_avg" setting or not. The "multiplier" is set to 1000.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5, running Lineage 16 with microG, released last week. https://download.lineage.microg.org/kccat6/ https://lineage.microg.org/
I also use a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, the current values on that appear correct.
