Hey, I'm having the same issue as above, my original blacklist is gone, and I can't re-input it because it just gets deleted every time I close the extension page. Unlike first case above though the blacklist is no longer functioning properly on the AO3 main site unless I have the extension page open with a blacklist inputted, and so long as I don't close that page ever while I'm using ao3. I am also using chrome, on windows 10 if that helps.
Thanks for writing in!!!! @Arianna-Skya I found the bug and have uploaded the new version. Should be live in an hour or so (rollout to all browsers takes a couple of days) but you can force the update from chrome://extensions
in your browser
@darthkrallt Wow, thank you for such a quick response, I'll check that out and if there are any remaining problems I'll let you know here.
Two reports so far:
"hello, i’m experiencing an issue where i can’t view my blacklisted tags. if i open the extension controls to add one, then close it and open it again, i’m presented with a blank text field. this makes it so i can’t remove any tags
the extension is operational other than that. the blacklisting is working as it should on ao3. the issue i described is the only problem
i think this happened as a result of my browser prompting me to accept new permissions for the extension. i’m using google chrome via an hp chromebook
the blacklisting isn't working all the time. i had to re-add a tag i'd added just 5 minutes ago"
"I just a few days ago I updated google chrome on my MacBook Pro and now my blacklisted tags have disappeared. Whenever I try to enter in new tags they do not save once I close the tab. I believe my extension is up to date."
