I think we are going to need to use sprite animations for the masgot and the upvotes icons

The mascot animatons are too complex for just css animation I guess

No ideas here... But we can't use many sprite animations or the site will lose performance.

Go crazy on the animations and we chose the best ones later

Just uploaded the first gif.

I guess that i'll work faster now, since the first threshold has been conquered.

We'll use the bg-position property in the "upvote" icon and other small animations, cos there would be a significant amount of states in the sprite sheet for the mascot and with its size the file would become difficult to handle.

Done the sleepy mascot for the loading screen, if we could add it if the screen's idle for a number of time would be great.

Uploaded the last mascot gif (4 the excuse page (or the about)). Next i'll do some options for the upvote icon, cos we need a better solution than the one presented in the layout.

i'll write down the remaining issues with the animations on this topic:

We have 3 gifs with the character. we could use each one in different pages (one in the main screen, other in the excuse screen and the last one on the about).

we could add a transition between the main screen and the excuse screen

we need to add a link to the "a desculpa diaria" title directin' the user to the home page, we could add a hover state (simple change of color tone - stronger or lighter, i dunno

Similar to the above, we could add a link to the title of each excuse .

we need to review the sprite transitions after someone votes.

we need to create the about page.

we need some feedback (like a simple message after we copy a text)
