This issue is about all the updates to the home page of the repository.

image ^^ previous home page design by Zhoucai. Issues: this had the old logo, old font, very static page.

^^ my updates to the home page. Added the logo to the assets subdirectory. Changed the buttons to be bigger and hoverable.
