what does success for this class mean to you?

• Being able to use ReactJS well enough to apply in industry
• Understanding and working with a new market in another country
• Potentially releasing our product so that real users can test out the features
• Developing a scalable product that we can work on after college
• Having returning active users and allowing people to use our service as an investment platform

Challenges

what are some challenges you foresee?

• We may run into legal issues once we open up our site for international transactions
• It is not difficult for another competitor to enter our market and create a more appealing software, so we are going to have to stay up to date on our research to make sure we are on top of our launch and know where we stand among other software.
• Getting users on board our website may be hard since we rely on a niche group of people who have access to a credit card but who are also cash constrained.

Nice goals!

I agree it will be an extra challenge for your team to recruit users internationally – hopefully you have some contacts where you plan to launch who can help you out. Or maybe Facebook or Google have some targeted ad plans for advertising in other countries? You can always use class money to launch an ad campaign!
