doesnt work (i might be dumb dumb and did something wrong idk help) #146

i opened the setup.exe, installed the drivers and i thinks it doesnt work

it looks like it's working fine, just running slow because it's being bottlenecked by the 4x pcie lanes, there are instructions on how to fix that on the readme

And no, it's not because of the PCI-E bus bottleneck. From what I gathered from the Chinese enthusiasts, all CMP cards except 30HX and 40HX have half-precision and single-precision floating-point cut down. And here is the sad part: you NEED single precision FP to play games. So no drivers will help with the performance.

there's a video of a guy that used the 50HX and played with it. it didn't run as it should but it worked at least

It should, but please pay close attention to the FPS in furmark in that video. It's 33. (even the guy at that video couldn't hide his surprise) For reference, a desktop RTX 3060 gives 95, CMP 40HX from Turing - 111 (yes, it technically faster) I couldn't find a P106-100 furmark result, but GTX1060 gives around 70 So CMP 50HX more than two times slower than P106-100. And yes technically it would work, but at a level of GTX 1050 at most.
