Is it possible to?

dartraiden commented 1 year ago

The Linux driver does not have these restrictions. I tested with P106-100, just install the proprietary driver and it just works.

So it was up to version 515 of the driver. Now it looks like nvidia has done the same on linux as subsequent drivers have performance drops of up to ~5 fps

for linux would be helpful these drivers to apply low memory frequency (810), instead of 3000/5000mhz for GDDR5X/6 mb it will be enough just with renaming (by deviceid?) from P-1/CMP-HX to GTX/RTX cards

I'm bringing up the topic again: how can I enable full GPU support on Debian?

PPTG commented 1 month ago

GPU

I think the problem lies in the fact that the GPU is limited to a Gen 1 X4 communication bus. The clocks are correct, at least according to the readings. Where should I start tinkering in Linux to try to modify the driver so that it thinks it has a 1060?
