Merge usage of the Swift Package Manager to the default branch.

Looks good to me @sjjhsjjh . Ive tweaked the build phases tab of the target "App" - so that nobody has to keep changing the build version. This should make it easier when we migrate to Travis CI (@jcope ). I don't think this will cause a problem - but have a look

Hi, I had a chat with Will and backed out just the changes to the shellscript because they don't pertain to Swift Package Manager.
