How can I debug this?

dashesy commented 4 years ago

Is boost built with the same g++ ABI that you are using?

stratosgear commented 4 years ago

hmm, how would I know that if I haven't manually compiled anything prior to the make of cc-tool?

All packages were installed through pacman (arch's package manager)

Buddy-Matt commented 3 years ago

Same issue here.

However, the AUR version seems to work without issue. No idea what they've done to get it working though!

$ yay -Syu cc-tool

stratosgear commented 3 years ago

Wow, yeah!!!

You are partially right. cc-tool from aur though was giving me troubles when actually using it:

Error occured: libusb_control_transfer (out) failed, Pipe error

but the cc-tools-git package did work.

It seems that the build script is passing some extra arguments to the .configure command. See: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=cc-tool-git

Thanks for pointing me out in the right direction @Buddy-Matt... :)
