Rectangle is not transparent in Google Earth like satellite view / map view

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load URL in browser
2. Click on "Earth" map button.
3. Polygons/Circles are hidden in Earth view. Rectangle is filled with white 
color. Also cannot use custom markers like beachflag icon.

Expected result:
Polygons and circles should not be hidden and Rectangle should be transparent.

Actual result:
Polygons/Circles are hidden in Earth view. Rectangle is filled with white 
color. Also cannot use custom markers like beachflag icon.

Version: 1

Browser / Operating System:
IE 7.0 / windows xp
