I'm concerned about a release going out without https://github.com/dask/distributed/issues/7940 being resolved. It should be closed with https://github.com/dask/distributed/pull/7941, there are a ton of CI failures but I think they are all unrelated. A quick review/merge there would be appreciated.

@jacobtomlinson and I chatted briefly offline and decided to push the release back until early next week so https://github.com/dask/distributed/pull/7941 can get a thorough review (I'm occupied at an offsite and others who would normally review are already off for the weekend)

https://github.com/dask/distributed/pull/7941 has been merged, so I'll start pushing out the release in ~30 minutes

2023.6.1 is out on PyPI and conda-forge PRs are open:
