Closing as 2024.5.0 is out on PyPI, conda-forge, and docker registries.

I should note that the GitHub release didn't work as expected (xref https://github.com/dask/dask/releases/tag/untagged-1eea3ab60a2fe3fe8c32). It's showing up as a draft release for some reason. cc @jacobtomlinson for visibility

Thanks for the ping @jrbourbeau, that was very strange. I reran the workflow again without changing anything and this time it published the release notes as expected. I suspect it was either caused by a transient GitHub API problem, or there is a race condition I haven't seen before. Please let me know if it happens again.
