Hi. Writing a good CoC is hard work. In case you haven't already seen them, here are two documents from other open source communities where you might look for reusable ideas.

The Python CoC is commendably succint and framed totally in terms of behaviors the community wants to encourage, as opposed to creating a long list of "thou shalt nots." Python CoC

The Django CoC and related documents are admirably complete and detailed, spelling out unambiguously the roles and responsibilities of all parties. Note their enforcement manual is a separate document from the CoC statement. Django CoC

We appreciate your feedback and after taking a step back are convening a group to work on the CoC and other communications that are intended to set the tone for the community.
