Example datasets higher up #542

We are about to add a ton more datasets and the initial phase of coolness around desktop is subsiding.

I like how d3.js has the examples up front and center. Can we do something like this?

It'd be great to also make it easy to link to the example section. I'd like to have something like this in the docs:

Try downloading some data from our examples at datproject.org/#example-dats
