Returns from json load on parse error #2

This PR is to fix https://github.com/datproject/gasket/issues/1.

I don't have much experience with error handling to let me know if there is a better way!

Thanks! This is almost correct. You only need to check if there is an error before syntax checking. I'll fix that.

I've fixed the missing things in 7eaa6dc (tagged the wrong issue). The fix and the PR is released in 1.1.3
