live video/audio streaming app over dat #15

Who are the users?

Similar users to Google hangouts / twitch / live youtubing

How would the user interact with it?

The producer would use an electron app to record a section of their screen or webcam. Consumers would use a website.

Why is the project important to the ecosystem?

Show casing live streams. "wow effect". freaking live video that works!

What defines the minimum requirements to sufficiently release (version 1)

Record webcam on a website and view the webcam stream on another site in realtime.

What are some stretch goals or interesting features for further releases (version 2, 3)

Seeking back in time. Offline backup to a video file.

hls or mpeg-dash based segments seem to be quite suitable for the hyperdrive data model
