2020 event - open call to organizations #8

Hello everyone!

We are starting to organize a 2020 public dat event. Online - of course! As part of the organization we would like to ask organizations that work on/with dat if they are interested in sponsoring the event or would like to contribute in another measure (prepare workshops, etc.)

Awesome. Thank you for tagging me.

I just participated on 2 online conferences this week. One was using Crowdcast (paid) and the other simply talky.io chat rooms for each talk.

What do you plan?

We are planning to use BigBlueButton for video rooms and try to integrate it with existing solutions (the dat forum and gitter/irc channel)

Nice. I don't know the software, to be honest, but it sounds great. What are the major features you like about it? Is it free?

Do you plan to integrate all this in the web page or does the tool have its own chat?
