make all colors less muted

Specifically when viewing the site in a bright room on a projector, the 3 different colors look the same. For example, the male/female colors are nice and distinct.

@housegeoff new colors are much more vibrant, but the tree map looks too "cool/green" and it's harder to tell the crop groups apart. Can we get more warm colors back in there, like some reds and oranges? For starters, to me it seems weird that Cereals are green and not a yellow/orange/brown color, and I could also see Fruits being a bright red. Also, maybe make Vegetables green so that the yellow color can go to someone else (Cereals)? In general, the green and yellow crop colors are way to close to eachother.
