Hi @chStaiger Thanks for the PR. This is not a good home for it - it is just a top level for the sprint work. We are going to build a repo for this separately - library-persistent-identifiers under data-lessons. When that is ready, submit the PR against that and we will load it up. @mkuzak is on it. cheers Belinda

Most librarians know a lot about persistent identifiers like handles, DOIs and so forth. In the added files we try to explain a broader use of this technology. The files contain the technical part and might need some padding and contextualisation with the rest of the library carpentry curriculum.
Adding a very basic PID tutorial employing handles. The module was developed for the EUDAT (eudat.eu) training.
