Cool, thanks for putting this together! Once we sort out #42 (or alternative fix), I can incorporate this / make whatever necessary post-that-PR tweaks.

Yep. As far as the existing store of records, I would advocate for backdating them all to an arbitrary discovered date in the past. Maybe Jan 1 of this year.
