AFAIK still requires review from a CD before merging.

@gvwilson @yashasroy I'm confused. The title of the PR would suggest that the exercises don't currently have hints. Is this really the case?

That's correct - some steps in multi-step exercises didn't have hints, and our checking tools weren't in place at the time to flag them. All the hints this PR adds are straightforward, but it needs a review before I can push the magic button.
