I've been talking with Kevin Jorrisen at Amazon. He's been great and is interested in helping support us with a research grant and also even helping to develop the Amazon AWS lessons.

Any clarification on whether a research grant is just cycles or would involve other forms of support?

It's just cycles, but people in the Amazon research group are also interested in helping with the lessons and even participating in a workshop, so there's some 'in kind' contribution.

It seams like we have Amazon EC2 credits for use in genomics workshop. Do you agree we can close this issue?
