It depends on how strictly you interpret right-click. I right-click very often on a Mac.
You can use a regular mouse with multiple buttons with a Mac, so that a right-click works just like on other systems. With a Magic Mouse, you can click the right side of the surface to right-click. On a MacBook trackpad, clicking (or tapping) with two fingers works as right-click (but that may depend on configuration).
In (almost?) all cases, holding Ctrl while clicking "regularly" works as a right-click.
I am a regular Linux user and an occasional Windows or Mac user. I don't know if a novice user would know that two-finger-click is the same as right-click but I would defer to people who are more regular Mac users on this.
What is the problem?
The setup instructions for Safari (a browser used only on Macs) say to right click to

but I don't think you can right click on a Mac.Location of problem (optional)
