Despite moving to posit cloud we still have consistent issues with students turning in code that doesn't run. We should return to spending time in weeks 1 & 2 introducing the importance of reproducible code and then immediately enforce it as part of grading to help students learn the essential skills. It's rushing things a little bit, but when we don't set the expectation early in the semester students get comfortable with code that won't run and that will cause them issues in the long-run
