Abstract Make Data Count (https://www.makedatacount.org) is a project set out to elevate research data as a first class scholarly output. In the last year, DataCite, California Digital Library, and DataONE have developed an approach for repositories to process and display comparable, standardized data-level-metrics (DLMs). In this session we will engage research stakeholders and the altmetric community in a "How-To" make your data count. This will involve:

This proposal falls into a future of altmetrics category that is not represented in the above categories- developing and implementing research data metrics.
