A release also entails testing, release notes and updated documentation. But if you believe we have customers waiting for this release and/or a particular bug fix, than yes.

@leugemors paying customers should refer to the commercial editions. This is a vote to release the community edition. For community edition we follow the community release guide. Testing and documentation is also up to the community to ensure. I've done my part, but if you or anyone else has pending contributions to these aspects I can live with postponing the release for that.
