I'm looking for more time between the time we learn something and the time we need to show our understanding of it. I may be slower than most, but because I work and have other committments, I have no time to incorporate what I learn on Monday into the project due on Wednesday.

I think this is reasonable. Let's do a poll tonight before class starts and see who would prefer to have project 2 due the following monday.
