Investigate Scientific Data connection #2992

An author emailed HD saying that the Import Metadata button didn't work for their resubmitted Scientific Data MS (SDATA-23-00849 or SDATA-23-00849A); they would like not to have to manually add 60 co-authors. I tested a few others in the system and also couldn't import the metadata:

However, I was able to import metadata for some ones that we have recently received acceptance notifications for via email (e.g., SDATA-23-00217B [received Oct. 20] and SDATA-23-00376B [Sept. 7])

Scientific Data doesn't regularly send us information about their manuscripts. They only do it in response to some checkbox the author selects when submitting the manuscript. If we can't get the metadata regularly, we will need to disable to Import Metadata button for them.

I will ask Maria and Jess how they want to approach this with the journal.
