As part of our Analytics I module, my teammates and I are predicting bus demand to contribute towards your new "on-demand, dynamically-routed" public bus services. (https://www.lta.gov.sg/apps/news/page.aspx?c=2&id=e68de01d-aeb4-4cfd-a1c1-632b6702643b)

We've looked through the article on Fingerprint of a bus route, [https://blog.data.gov.sg/fingerprint-of-a-bus-route-73e5be53dcf0] and would really appreciate if you could give us more data on passenger journeys, specifically the ezlink bus tap in/tap out dataset.

LTA has previously granted students access to this data (https://wiki.smu.edu.sg/ANLY482/Time-series_Analysis_on_Singapore_Public_Transportation_Train_Network_Data_Source), however it is a little dated, hence this email to request for more current data. Could we have the ezlink bus tap in/tap out dataset for September 11-24 (inclusive)?

@Zhengrong34 we'll need to check with LTA on whether they can assist you with this.

Hi, would it be possible to have past data? Previous years would be fine too. This is because our assumptions is that the past year trips would not differ as there is not many changes to the district.

Heya, was about to open a similar request but I noticed this thread - is it possible for you to share more about why this wasn't possible? I'm interested in finding out the effects of bike sharing platforms, and this was one of the data sources i was looking for.

They didn’t explain why it isn’t available, but I’m still interested in accessing it if it becomes available!

@marthaisaacs @Waffleboy @Zhengrong34 LTA has informed us that they'll be able to assist you with your data request. They will require more details before they can proceed with the request.
