Hawkes Model Analysis on War/Terrorism events (or others)

Hawkes model: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1507.02822.pdf History-dependent model to be applied on time series of the occurrence of events. Can give insights on the presence of correlations and temporal clustering of events, as well as on the time scale of these correlations.

Project: 1 - initial analysis on clustering, made by comparing the original time seqs with a reshuffled version 2 - Once the reshuffligh confirms time clustering, apply hawkes model and find time scale 3 - Divide by continents/regions?
