interdisciplinary cross-university activity
research support and training!
lots of training! workshops, and other things that aren't in the standard curriculum.
all workshops are free to grad students.
have grad pathways through grad studies; no-cost certification for grad students
research support: partner with researchers for data-driven projects, help support them on the data science side. Go from idea to understanding of possible solution to potential implementation.
open office hours each week!
can connect researchers with students who are interested in working in that kind of research; engage in active research projects!
have ~5 full time staff members.
run various research and learning clusters - focus groups / "birds of a feather" gatherings for people who do data-driven stuff. some meet regularly, some less so; all take on their own lives.
