What visuals will help us interpret and tell the story of the summary table output? Start with the income and transportation variables.

If we could create something similar to a heatmap for the wealth distribution in California, and plot the locations of the surgeons it might be a possible visualization to show who has immediate access to it. I can see that issue #21 might be that idea too.

Visualizations Ideas Transportation: Bar graph for the population within the 60 90 and 120-minute drive Heatmap for the most common transportation type Income and race: Race bar graph for the most common population 60 90 and 120 minutes away (see if there is a difference) Wealth distribution heatmap Race bar graph compared to wealth in the y-axis

I think Sebastian's idea about creating heat maps to show distribution is great. Some of the visualizations for the income & transportation variables I can think of are:

Grouped bar graph of inside and outside population vs. variables on the x-axis for each isochrone
Find the mode (transportation/income) variable of each tract and use a choropleth map to represent it, add dotted areas to represent the inside population location
Shade inside population areas and use a population dot density map to show the population of each variable
